Passover (Pesach) PART 1

Shemoth (Exodus) 12: 14 tell us that we are to GUARD (shamar) and ((( OBSERVE ))) Passover as a “zikrown”, or “memorial” throughout our generations FOREVER! And, whoever does not GUARD and PERFORM IT, is “cutoff” from the congregation of YShREL. And, we all know how that feels. We’ve been cut-off for 2,730 years…, let me explain.

According to the prophet Yirmeyahu in chapter 3, we were given a certificate of divorce (SEPERATION) when the Northern Kingdom (house of YShREL) was carried into captivity by the Assyrians in around 722 BCE (Before the Common Era). Later in around 586 BCE, the Southern Kingdom (house of Yahudah) was likewise carried into captivity by the Babylonians. Their captivity ended when a small percentage of the house of Yahudah returning after 70 years. The Northern Kingdom was warned and said to REPENT (return to YaHUaH’s Torah) through the prophet Yehezqel (see chapter 4), and would have spent 390 years in captivity for their idolatry. They didn’t, so unfortunately the seventy-fold penalty kicked in (see Lev. 26) and so their captivity has lasted 2,730 years till their punishment will/have be/been lifted and a remnant of Ephraim will cry out to RETURN to YaHUaH and His Torah (see Yirmiyahu 31: 6) The Prodigal Son is returning!

And so we became known as the ten lost tribes of YShREL.

“For the Son of Adam have come to seek and to save what was LOST!” Luqas 19: 10

And He answered and said, “I was not sent except to the LOST SHEEP of the house of YShREL.” Matthyahu 15:24

The Hebrew word “Pesach” is translated as “Passover” but through a Hebraic understanding it also means “sparing from calamity or penalty”, the very reason Messiah came to “seek and to save” Him being the Passover Lamb (1 Cor 5: 7). The ordinances that were against us were the punishments for transgressing YaHUaH’s Torah. The transgression of the Torah is sin (1 John 3:4). The wages of sin are death (Romans 6:23) as it is written, “the soul that sins [transgressing Torah] shall die.” (Yehezqel [Ezekiel] 18:20) Our sin [violation of the Torah] SEPERATES us from ELaHYM (Yeshayahu [Isaiah] 59:2)“. If not for Messiah, the Northern Kingdom would’ve been LOST (SEPERATED) FOREVER. And it is through this gesture we begin to see our obligation to the Feast!

“THEREFORE, let US KEEP THE FEAST”! Qorintiyim Aleph (1 Corinthians) 5: 7-8

Therefore it is also important to understand WHEN the month of the Aviv begins so that we know when to start counting the days to “GUARD and OBSERVE” the Passover, the Feast of Unleavened bread and all subsequent “APPOINTED TIMES” which occur throughout the year. (see Vayigra 23). Please NOTE: These are not to be observed whenever you feel like it, these are “appointed times”! I am therefore encouraging people to visit an article written by Todd D. Bennett entitled: “How do we determine the month of the Aviv?” to be found on http://www.shemayisrael.net/articles/how-we-determine-month-of-aviv.html#aviv-cont perhaps we can connect the dots from the time the Northern Kingdom was carried into captivity to the time this article was written.

YaHUaH said through the prophet Mosheh, “For this command which I command you today is not too difficult for you, nor is it far off. It is not in heaven, that you should say, ‘Who will go up to heaven for us to get it for us and make us hear it, that we may OBSERVE it? Nor is it beyond the sea, that you should say, ‘Who will cross the sea for us to get it for us and make us hear it, that we may OBSERVE it? But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may OBSERVE it.” Devarim 30: 11-14

Why “in your mouth and in your heart”? Because not only does Shemoth (Exodus) 13: 8 -10 explains how you are to “inform your son in that day” (sometime in the future) that it is done (OBSERVE) as a celebration of Passover, “and IT shall be a SIGN to you on your hand and as a REMINDER between your eyes, that the Torah of YaHUaH is to be in your mouth”; but also explains how it is not too difficult to GUARD, ((( OBSERVE ))) and PERFORM! Those who keep this SIGN (those who observe the Passover) actually show that the Torah is within their mouths and within their hearts!

Why “a sign to you ON YOUR HAND and as a reminder BETWEEN YOUR EYES”?

The HAND is a symbol of (((ACTION))) see Shemoth (Exodus) 13: 9, Qoheleth (Ecc) 9: 10 and Yshayahu (Isaiah) 59: 6.

“BETWEEN YOUR EYES”  is a symbol for the (((MIND))) see Debarim(Deut.)6:6-8; Rom 7: 25; Yehezqel 3:8-9, and Hazon(Revelations)14:1 and 17:5.

“…So then, with the (((MIND))) I truly serve the Torah of ELaHYM, but with the flesh the Torah of Sin.”Rom 7: 25

  1. Peace be with you and within you !

Blessed are you because you keep his commandments and walk according to the truth.-

    1. It is good to know that my writings reach those in Germany.
May I also use this opportunity by means of transmitting His gracious will… “YaHUaH bless you Gustav and guard you Gustav; YaHUaH make His face shine upon you Gustav, and show favour to you Gustav; YaHUaH lift up His face upon you Gustav, and give you peace.” Please note that the blessing is connected to His Name and not to a title! No more jewish, rabbinical, Christian and Messianic’s traditions alike, of substituting the Name with Adonai or Lord! Note ALSO that YaHUaH does not command the kohanim (priests) to bless the people using their own words, but rather provides the exact formulation for the blessing, prefacing the instructions with the words: “This is how you bless the children of YShREL.” This reveals that the blessing comes from YaHUaH Himself, and WE are but the means of transmitting His gracious will. This is further indicated by the verse that immediately follows the birkat kohanim: “Thus they shall PUT MY NAME on the children of YShREL, AND I MYSELF SHALL BLESS THEM.”

      In His Service, Serving you,
      Shalom

  2. Shalom Charl, got it! I was reading some of the article by Todd Bennett not long ago. At the time, I did not know that he was the author. I got part way through the article and it seemed so detailed, I did not finish it. Charlie and I have all of his “Walk in the Light” series of books which I would recommend for all people. Since your reference is the 2nd witness to this information – we will have to give it a good and serious look with prayer. I believe, though, that it is probably going to be right. Our Father is soooo good to us. “Little by little, line upon line, precept upon precept” He is going to bring us all the Way Home. Thank you every so much. YaHUaH continue to Bless you and keep you.

  3. Blessings to you.Yes We are to keep the feast,” With sincerity and truth.” Not a Lamb or crackers and grape juice.” Yahuah is our Lamb now.

  4. The Pesah is only to be done in Jerusalem, for that is where he set his name “only.”
So many leading the flock astray. The scripture says, that you are sacrificing to demons by disobeying his mandate that you do not do this everywhere you see fit, but only where he has chosen, and he has chosen Jerusalem. HArd headed people, filled with pride, teaching lies.

Everyone in the NT also did it in Jerusalem. Just do some research before you send everyone off on a hell tour!!!!!!! Do not follow men, for cursed is he that maketh flesh his arm, and in vain do they esteem me teaching for doctrine the commandments of men.

    1. YShRaEL will bear the punishment of their iniquity without sacrifice! His mandate on sacrificing is crystal clear. We are the seed of Abraham by faithfulness and belong to the house of YShRaEL by faithfulness, and will remain so by keeping the commandments and the very mandate on the ban.
‘This is what YaHUaH has commanded, saying, “Any man from the house of YShRaEL who slaughters an ox, or a lamb, or a goat in the camp, or who slaughters it OUTSIDE THE CAMP, and has not brought it to the doorway of the tent of meeting² to present it as an offering to YaHUaH before the tabernacle³ of YaHUaH, bloodguiltiness is to be reckoned to that man. He has shed blood and that man shall be cut off from among his people.ª Leviticus 17:3,4

As for me and my house, we will wait on YaHUaH to restore the place of His Name. We will not risk blood guilt, and if those opposing think that we are not covered by the faithfulness of Messiah because we reject their doctrine, then they are dividing YShRaEL and causing disunity.
      Your position is rock solid:
Here is what the Scripture says:

“You are not allowed to sacrifice the Passover in any of your towns which YaHUaH your Almighty is giving you; but at the place where YaHUaH your Almighty chooses to establish His Name, you shall sacrifice the Passover in the setting as the sun goes down, at the set time that you came out of Mitzrayim (Egypt). (Deut. 16:5).

“BE CAREFUL THAT YOU DO NOT offer your whole-ascending sacrifices IN EVERY PLACE YOU SEE, but in the place which YaHUaH chooses in one of your tribes, there you shall offer your whole-ascending sacrifices, and there you shall do all that I command you. However, you may slaughter and eat meat within any of your gates, whatever you desire, according to the blessing of YaHUaH your Almighty which he has given you; the unclean and the clean may eat of it, as of the gazelle and the deer. (Deut. 12:13-15)

      1. In the latter days the “camp” is YShRaEL and “outside the camp” is beyond the border of YsHRaEL in the nations.

      2. In the latter days, the “tent of meeting” became the Temple. That is the tent of meeting was replaced by the Temple. The intent of the legislation remains valid.

      3. i.e. the Temple

Does a journey away from YShRaEL or exile suspend this commandment for the sons of YShRaEL? NO! Numbers 9:10, 13 show that offering Passover away from the Sanctuary was not allowed, otherwise the journey would not have been an issue. Deut. 16:5-6 repeats the prohibition. Deut. 12:13-16 repeats the ban and allows only slaughtering for common food. Hosea 3:4-5 says YShRaEL will bear the punishment of their iniquity WITHOUT sacrifice (cf. Lev 26:43). Jewish example suggests not. The Limitation to Levites of sacrificial service says no (Num. 18:23); they will bear the iniquity of mistakes, and Levites are not available in the exile. YaHUShA (Joshua) 22:10-12 show that building any competing altar is a cause for war. The only place of sacrifice is the one place YaHUaH chooses to put His name, and that is Yerushalayim (1Ki 8:16). The Samaritans presumed to sacrifice on their own, but YaHUShA rejected their worship, saying they worshiped, “that which you do not know” (John 4:22), and their worship was a thorn in the side of YaHUDaH.

The main reason for and / or purpose for this teaching was merely to ((( OBSERVE ))) (http://www.thefreedictionary.com/observe) Passover and not toss it away and follow after traditional man made feast days. My apologies for not attending to your comment sooner. But thank you for setting things straight.

  5. His Last Supper,
    Then Passover!
The gospels read of the eventful Monday ( Roman calendar is referenced) ** evening, April 3rd, 30 A.D., that Yahuah, instructs the disciples while at supper that the bread and wine is his flesh and blood given for them, a memorial of the new covenant based on his body and blood. That Tuesday evening was a powerful reminder of what he must suffer to buy his creation. He was and is the lamb slain before the foundations of the earth.
That last supper would also be the last time he ate. When the meal was finished he went out and prayed. He sought relief in prayer. He knew he was that lamb set aside for slaughter for the next day, about mid-day of the 14th day. That 14th day was after the Spring Equinox of March 22nd, A.D. 30, the New Year, as calculated by the books of Jubilees, Enoch and Exodus. They are the books of law, part of the Temple scrolls collection.
On that fateful preparation day, Tuesday, the 4th of April, at about 1 P.M. Yahuah was nailed to a tree, hung up to die, an innocent man, blameless and pure. He was the unblemished lamb set aside. Our Passover! At about 4 P.M. that day he died, pierced by a spear where his blood and water were spilled. He was buried before sunset, as the High Day was to start that evening. It would be the Passover evening, the beginning of the first day of Unleavend bread, a Sabbath holy day, but not the weekly Sabbath. He was buried in Joseph of Arimathea’s grave, which is said was his uncle. After sunset was the Passover, the evening of the 4th, actually the 5th of April, as a day is counted from evening to evening. That night was “the night be much remembered” as explained in Exodus, a perpetual memorial and rite, a vigil for all the children of Israel and the vast numbers of others who dwelt with them. That day would be counted as the 15th day of the new month and year, started on the day of the spring equinox. That day is always counted as the 4th day of a 7-day week! Days in excess of 364 are ignored, or not accounted for but lived..
It was exactly as Yahuah said, I give you the sign of Jonah, as he was in the belly of the fish for three days and nights so to will the son of man be in the grave three days and nights. He was resurrected and out of the tomb toward the sunset of the day, Friday the 7th of April, A.D. 30, after 3 full days and nights.

It was an eventful year for the faithful ones who knew about the fallacies of the Pharisees deceptions and wrangling in the temple mount and Hellenistic perversions of “The Law”.
Yahuah made allusions about them to their faces in John chapter 8. He stated they were just like their father, the first murderer, intoning they were a mixed race, not pure Levite as required for service in the Temple, usurping Moses’s seat and authority.
Pentecost came and the days continued true till the fall season’s calendar as explained in Jubilees and Enoch. The “Jewish” Babylon moon calendar was now out of sync with the revealed calendar. The priestly community now called “Essenes” observed the calendar as instructed by Jubilees and Enoch. The Zadokite family, the true priests of Levite blood were no longer serving in the temple. It was in that “Upper Room” where Yahuah took his last supper and where the disciples met prior to Pentecost. The upper room was in the Zadokite community located in Jerusalem, called the “Essenes”. That Zadokite priestly community moved to Qumran to the southwest, about 10 miles from Jerusalem.
They took the Temple scrolls with them and continued to maintain them, but when the Romans came for the priests because they were “Jews”, they buried the Temple scrolls later to be discovered in 1947. They are now known as the “Dead Sea Scrolls”.

The story will continue, provided open minds seek truth and discover Saturday masquerades as Sabbath. The “Jewish” calendar was not of Gods law but a creative, and imaginative coup by a group of Jewish scholars who in about 70 A.D. “cleansed” the Hebrew texts of the law, poetry and history noting any inkling that Enoch and Jubilees is the revealed calendar for the Children of Great God must not remain. They created a new religion, Judaism!
But history as usual, reveals the truth. The books are now open for all to read. The Dead Sea Scrolls and also the new Septuagint translation of the Old Testament reveal much. Enoch and Jubilees are now available to read in full. The “Jewish” Idiomatic Words and Phrases used in textual references and the Old and New Testaments now can be deciphered using the “Strongs” Exhaustive Concordance. Root words now can be understood for their true meaning and depth rather than derivative usages designed to fit but carry false context. Reading now will have a new depth to the Spoken Word once delivered.

** in the calendar of Enoch, there will be a one day leap in A.D. 31. Then the Weekly Sabbath will fall on the Roman Sunday. The weekly 7 day cycle is dependent on the Enoch accounting, not the Roman nor the Jewish calendar. The year 30 A.D. Coincided with the Jewish and Roman reckonings, a very rare occasion.

    To be continued?

    Discovering Sabbath
A look at and a critique Saturday’s almost universal acceptance as the true Sabbath. An eye opening examination of the Sabbath day, its true position in our lives and the present weekly structure.
Historical records show not only the Sabbath day, but also the entire week and calendar system as founded was changed less than 2,000 years ago.  Prior to this change, the Creators time organization centered on the Seasons solar calendar.
A case to show that Saturday is impersonating the Sabbath, and exhibits the big myth created in an upper room about 70 A.D., in conjunction with a with a “New” religion, Judaism. You are the jury – Saturday’s fate is in your hands!

    Item One
This is a quote from the Temple scrolls.*
The Book of Jubilees: Chapter 6
Jasher is quoted in the O.T. and Enoch is quoted in the N.T. The context of the Jubilees quote also found in the book of Enoch.
    – 32 And command thou the children of Israel that they observe the years according to this reckoning- three hundred and sixty-four days, and (these) will constitute a complete year, and they will not disturb its time from its days and from its feasts; for everything will fall out in them according** to 33 their testimony, and they will not leave out any day nor disturb any feasts. But if they do neglect and do not observe them according to His commandment, then they will disturb all their seasons and the years will be dislodged from this (order), [and they will disturb the seasons and the years 34 will be dislodged] and they will neglect their ordinances. And all the children of Israel will forget and will not find the path of the years, and will forget the new months, and seasons, and Sabbaths 35 and they will go wrong as to all the order of the years. For I know and from henceforth will I declare it unto thee, and it is not of my own devising; for the book (lies) written before me, and on the heavenly tablets the division of days is ordained, lest they forget the feasts of the covenant 36 and walk according to the feasts of the Gentiles after their error and after their ignorance. For there will be those who will assuredly make observations of the moon -how (it) disturbs the 37 seasons and comes in from year to year ten days too soon. For this reason the years will come upon them when they will disturb (the order), and make an abominable (day) the day of testimony, and an unclean day a feast day, and they will confound all the days, the holy with the unclean, and the unclean day with the holy; for they will go wrong as to the months and Sabbaths and feasts and 38 jubilees. For this reason I command and testify to thee that thou moist testify to them; for after thy death thy children will disturb (them), so that they will not make the year three hundred and sixty-four days only, and for this reason they will go wrong as to the new months and seasons and Sabbaths and festivals, and they will eat all kinds of blood with all kinds of flesh. ____________________________________________________________________
    * Edited to reflect the Hebrew words in context and fidelity.
** This calendar is a time (year) beginning with the first day of the first month, which will be determined by the spring equinox. The calendar starts each year on the day when the equinox happens will be marked as the fourth day of a 7-day week. Normally, this is done by observation at sunset, which begins the first day of the year. A shadow from a west-facing pole is cast upon an east-facing pole. The poles, of course, are aligned so that a line between the two poles points exactly east and west as determined by a line from south to north that points to the polar star. (Not by magnetic compass.) After the 364 days are finished, the surplus time of 1 to 2 days is ignored while one waits for the equinox. The equinox is always marked as the fourth day of the 7-day week. On that day one starts the 364-day count once again. The year has 4 quarters, seasons of 3 months each consisting of 30 days, 30 days and 30 days plus 1 day.

    1. Dear Raymond Paul,
I welcome your comments; I am delighted to read your remarks and more and to see your passion being about the Fathers business. My absence in giving out new freshly manna is due to the fact that I have taken the time to study the book of Enoch, Jubilees, the calendar and more. I have come to learn a great deal as when Shaul also first went to Sinai for a refreshed understanding before he spent yet another fourteen days with Kepha and only thereafter he’s speech and voice was heard. This blog will shortly bring Enoch, Jubilees, and more to the forefront. I am glad you brought it up, it needed to be said! Shalom.

    1. My apologies for the late reply and for the fact that I haven’t posted anything regarding the subject on the book of Enoch as I said I would. But please do understand, we have immigrated to New Zealand and its not something that can be taken lightly, I certainly have a lot on my plate and will most certainly appreciate your support in prayer. I would also like to hear what you have come to learn, its all about putting the pieces together, so please share with me your thoughts, your take on the subject. You are welcome to email me on teruah@mail.com or simply reply on the blog.
When we have settled in I will make sure I’ll post that which I have come to learn. But above all, may we continue to uplift YaHUaH for the marvelous gift He has given us through His Son. TO HIM ((( YaHUaH ))) who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us TO HIM BE THE GLORY!!!

  6. Matthew 28:1, Mark 16:9, and Luke 24:1. These scriptures talk about ‘the first day of the week’. When I looked at them under aninterlinear, the original word is “sabbaton”, which has been translated into ‘the first day of the week’. The ‘first day of the week’ is actually the “Sabbath”. I realized that this Sabbath being spoken of here is actually ‘First Fruits’, the first day of “Unleavened Bread”, which follows the Passover Sabbath. This means there is a Passover Sabbath, immediately followed by the Sabbath of First Fruits.

Luke 6:1 – read from the KJV, the word ‘second’ under the interlinear comes from the word ‘deuteroprotos’ which means ‘first fruits’. It is the Sabbath following the Passover Sabbath. This is when the women came to the tomb between the Passover Sabbath and the Sabbath of First Fruits.
