The Good News of the Kingdom PART 4

Remember how I explained in PART 2, how “Ya’aqob’s trouble” or what some call the tribulation, is the period set aside in Scriptural prophecy for the reunification of the 12 tribes of YShREL back to the land YShREL. And how so many people regard themselves outside that camp of sheep fold (Ya’aqob’s trouble) and expect a pre tribulation rapture event – hope to leave their Yahudim brothers behind. This is however a vast ignorance that persists in the minds of those affected by traditional Christian bias and error, an ignorance born in the standard Christian failure to grasp Hebraic principles. It does not reflect the view of YShREL’s eschatological promises being fulfilled and therefore not achieve YaHUShA’s intended goal for YShREL’s “oneness”. FIRST, YaHUaH will bring Yahudah & Ephraim into (((one stick))) in His hand.Yehezqel (Ezekiel) 37: 15

FIRST “He who scattered YShREL gathers him (Ephraim and Yahudah) Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 31: 10, THEN ONLY (verse 13) “shall a MAIDEN rejoice in a dance… and I shall turn their mourning to joy.” And UNLESS YaHUaH has made Yahudah one with Ephraim and gathered them, “a great assembly returning” then the maiden spoken about in Mattiyahu 25: 1-13 can forget to rejoice in her dance (at a wedding) that comes after a resurrection or what people call a rapture. There is a lot of things that still need to come into fruition and especially during the tribulation period that involves the “house of Ya’aqob” (Ephraim and Yahudah) not Yahudah (Jews) only! The reason for people regarding themselves outside that camp of sheep fold (“Ya’aqob’s trouble”) is because of two major mistakes they make. The first mistake they make is to think upon the “house of Ya’aqob” as if it only refers to the physical descendants of Avraham, Yitshaq and Ya’aqob, forgetting that the book of Shemoth (Exodus) 19: 3 tells us that those who came out of Mitszrayim (Egypt) and were standing at mount Sinai is the house of Ya’aqob! It was the physical descendants of Avraham, Yitshaq and Ya’aqob IN ADDITION to the mixed multitudes, TOGETHER CALLED THE HOUSE OF YA’AQOB! The second and MOST COMMON mistake they make is to regard only Yahudah (Jews), to be YShREL. It was and will be “Ya’aqob’s trouble” not Yahudah (Jews) trouble ONLY. Ya’aqob became YShREL, not Yahudah (Jews) became YShREL! And Yahudim’s (Jews), although physical descendants, they are but ONLY consisting of ONE tribe of YShREL. And when Scripture refer to the “house of Yahudah” it is speaking of the Southern Kingdom consisting of TWO tribes – Benyahmin and Yahudah. And when Scripture refer to the “house of Ya’aqob” it is speaking of ALL TWELVE TRIBES IN ADDITION TO THE MIXED MULTITUDES TOGETHER CALLED THE HOUSE OF YA’AQOB. Now in as much as you might be a non physical descendant, that are regarded as the “strangers, sojourners, adopted, grafted in” – you might most likely be part of the Northern Kingdom Ephraim (consisting of 10 tribes) true physical descendants that were scattered into the Nations. But irregardless of you being a physical or non physical descendant, it is taught and explained by Sha’ul in Qorintiyim (1 Corinthians) 10:1-4, how ALL believers in ( יהושע )YaHUShA the Messiah need to ALSO see themselves as if they were redeemed from Mitzrayim (Egypt), the house of Ya’aqob! But we weren’t there so why should we regard ourselves as if we were there? The answer is simple which is why Sha’ul is telling believers in YaHUShA that they ALL came out of Mitzrayim (Egypt), as if we are standing at Mount Sinai! It is a Torah concept! In stating that he was teaching exactly what the Torah said as found in Debarim (Deuteronomy) 29:12-15 AS IT IS WRITTEN! Now pay close ATTENTION TO verse 14 and 15 “NEITHER WITH YOU ONLY do I make this Covenant and this oath; But with him that stands here with us this day before YaHUaH ELaHYM and ALSO WITH HIM WHO IS NOT HERE WITH US THIS DAY:” Notice that the Covenant was made with two groups of people, those who were there, and those who were not there, which means that although you were not there, the Torah says you were there, as Sha’ul states to the Qorintiyim’s. Now IF you are a believer in the ELaHYM of YShREL, and IF you are in Covenant relationship with the Messiah YaHUShA, Sha’ul were saying that you too should then NOT be IGNORANT of this event! In speaking of this event Sha’ul emphasize and uses the word “ALL”, FIVE TIMES in saying ALL of OUR fathers were under the cloud. They ALL passed through the sea, and so forth. He was explaining to us the importance of that Covenant and how we should not be IGNORANT to think that it was a covenant for some other group of people other than ourselves. Many people are ignorant due to the many bad translations that reads “New” Covenant rather than the more accurate translation that read “Renewed” Covenant that was only reaffirmed in the blood of Messiah!  Sha’ul was teaching exactly what the Torah said as there is a commandment in the Torah in Shemoth (Exodus) 13: 8 that states; And you shall show your son IN THAT DAY saying, ‘This is done because of that which YaHUaH did UNTO (((ME))) WHEN (((I))) CAME forth out of Egypt.”

“In that day” is to show your son sometime in the future that this is been done as a celebration of Passover which is a remembrance of the redemption of the Nation YShREL WHEN ((( I ))) CAME FORTH OUT OF EGYPT! The son “in that day” did not literally came out of that day but should regard it as if he did – ALWAYS! BECAUSE YOUR SON IS TO IDETIFY HIMSELF WITH THE HOUSE OF YA’AQOB, THE NATION YShREL AS SHA’UL WERE TRYING TO EXPLAIN TO THE Qorintiyim’s! As also He explained to the Eph’siyim’s: “that at that time you were without Messiah, excluded from the (((CITIZENSHIP OF YShREL))) and strangers from the COVENANT(S) OF PROMISE, having no expectation and without ELaHYM in the world. But now in Messiah YaHUShA you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Messiah.” Eph’siyim (Ephesians) 2: 12

Sha’ul was saying to ALL who believe in YaHUShA that we should not be ignorant to assume that we are outside that camp of sheep fold! So often when people use the word YShREL in their minds they are synonymously referring to Jews but it was not Yahudah’s (Jews) name who was change to YShREL, it was Ya’aqob’s name that was changed! And for this reason you cannot and should not regard yourself outside that camp of sheep fold (“House of Ya’aqob” or “Ya’aqob’s trouble”). You are now part of the CITIZENSHIP OF YShREL instead of being part of a man made Greek Religionistic idea called Christianity! (See “Christianity PART 1-3″ under the “Pagan Roots” teaching series) You better wake up! Sha’ul was trying to explain how we should NOT think that YaHUaH, when He gave them the Torah on Mount Sinai said to the physical YShREL, please stand on my left side that I can give you a set of commandment and to the non physical descendants to stand on my right so that I can give you another set of Commandments? No! Bemidbar (Numbers) 15:15,16 “ONE ORDINANCE shall be both for you of the congregation AND ALSO FOR THE STRANGER THAT SOJOURNS WITH YOU, an ordinance FOREVER in your generation(S): as you are so shall the stranger be before YaHUaH. One Law and one manner shall be for you the stranger that sojourns with you.”

FOREVER means to a traditional Christian up until YaHUShA came and died on the up right stake. They fail to understand that it was not a New Covenant but a RENEWED COVENANT! This COVENANT enriches the previous! The Eden, Adamic, Noahadic, Avraham, Mosaic, Davidic and REnewed covenant(s). This RENEWED COVENANT DOES NOT REPLACE ANY OTHER COVENANT THAT WAS MADE! For YaHUaH is not a man that He should lie, for when He said, “I shall not profane My covenant, neither would I change what has gone out from My lips”,(Tehillim (Psalms) 89: 34) And to assume or to proclaim that the new has replaced the old is not only a helenistic point of view but also in direct contradiction to the Scriptures! The last witness to the stand, I call Eph’siyim (Ephesians) 2: 12-13 and let us see what Scripture has to confirm about itself!

“that at that time you were without Messiah, EXCLUDED FROM [what?] the citizenship of YShREL AND STRANGERS FROM [what?] the covenantS of promise, (notice the plural) having no expectation and without ELaHYM in the world. But now in Messiah YaHUShA you who once were FARR OFF [from what?] have been brought near [to what?] BY the blood of Messiah.”

Therefore we have a Torah principle that when the ELaHYM of YShREL affirms the covenant what He made with Avraham, Yitshaq and Ya’aqob and redeems His people in the very near future (fulfillment of Yom haKippurim), He offers redemption to ALL whosoever receives it! (“an inheritance of the assembly of Ya’aqob” Deut. 33: 4) Non YShRELy physical descendants could also came out of Mitzrayim (Egypt) IF they had put the blood on their door post, if they did not, death of their first born! The WHOLE house of Ya’aqob was saved by grace THROUGH faith! Shemoth (Exodus) 3: 21 So what was the “faith” that was required? Putting the blood of the Lamb on the door post! Shemoth (Exodus) 12:3; 12:7 Again it is a Torah concept and not something that came when YaHUShA died on the up right stake! THEREFORE, when we read in Eph’siyim (Ephesians) 2:8 “For by favour you have been saved, THROUGH belief…” it’s only repeating of how the Torah describes how the ELaHYM of YShREL saves His people. Its affirming what the Torah says! Only AFTER we were saved by grace through faith, we came unto mount Sinai where we received the Torah on HOW WE ARE TO LIVE OUR LIVES AS A SAVED OR REDEEMED PEOPLE! Now in Yochanan 14: 15 when YaHUShA said “(((IF))) you love me you shall keep my commandments”, He was not only making an allusion to Shemoth (Exodus) 20: 6 where He said, “And showing mercy (grace) to thousands of them that love Me and keep My commandments” but also stating that He IS the law giver! Is- it-not written (re-afirmed) in Ya’aqob (James) 4: 12? “There is ONE lawgiver and Judge, who is able to save and to destroy.” Which is why Sha’ul states, “Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves servants for OBEDIENCE, you are servants of the one whom you OBEY, [the law giver – Ya’aqob (James) 4: 12] weather of sin to death, or of OBEDIENCE to righteousness.”

Righteousness” in Hebrew, it is “tsedeq” meaning “the act of doing what is in agreement with ELaHYM’s standards”. As Hebrew is a “doing” language (mostly verbs) we see righteousness as what it says, “THE ACT OF DOING what is in agreement with ELaHYM’s standards”, in other words by OBEYING His commandment, His Sabbath, His feasts, etc. – Torah obedient! Therefore Sha’ul said, “there REMAINS A SABBATH KEEPING for the people of ELaHYM. For the one having rested from his works, as ELaHYM rested from His own. Let us THEREFORE [because there remains a Sabbath] do our utmost to enter into that rest LEST ANYONE FALL AFTER THE SAME EXAMPLE OF (((DISOBEDIENCE))).Ibrim (Hebrews) 4: 9-11 Therefore we must be obedient!

“THEREFORE, as the Set Apart Spirit says, ‘Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts AS IN the rebellion in the day of trail IN THE WILDERNESS, where your fathers tried Me, proved Me, and saw My works forty years, And WITH WHOM was He grieved forty years? WAS IT NOT THOSE WHO SINNED [i.e. disobeying Torah], whose corpses fell in the wilderness? And to whom did He swear that they would not enter into His rest,(Sabbath)[perhaps look at Tehillem (Psalms) 89: 34 when thinking upon this important statement] BUT TO THOSE WHO DID NOT OBEY? Since then it remains for some to enter into it (the Millennium Sabbath Rest), AND FOR THOSE WHO FORMERLY RECEIVE THE GOOD NEWS [i.e. Torah is good News] did not enter in because of DISOBEDIENCE [i.e. not obeying Torah], He again defines a certain day, “Today”, saying through Dawid so much later, as it has been said, “Today if you hear My voice, do not harden your hearts.”Ibrim (Hebrews) 3: 6,7

How can we further prove that Torah is GOOD NEWS?

“This is he [Mosheh] who was in the assembly IN THE WILDERNESS with the Messenger [referring to Messiah YaHUShA] who spoke to him on Mount Sinai, and with our Fathers, who received the (((LIVING WORDS))) [i.e. Torah is living words] to give to us, [that’s right – US!] UNTO WHOM OUR FATHERS WOULD NOT BECOME OBEDIENT, but trust away, and IN THEIR HEARTS they turned back to Mitsrayim (Egypt)”Ma’asei (Acts) 7: 38-39

The problem with so many people to this day, are their HEARTS that so easily return to “Mitzrayim” away from Torah! Not being obedient to Torah! The word Mitzrayim (Egypt) comes from the root Meitzar, which signifies boundary and restriction. Which is why Ya’aqob (James)1: 25 could re-affirm that which the Psalms 19: 7, many years earlier have wrote, when he said , “But he that looketh into the PERFECT Torah THAT OF (((FREEDOM))), and continues in it, not become hearers that forgets, but a doer of work, this one shall be blessed in his DOING of the Torah.” YaHUaH certainly did not bring us out of Mitzrayim (Egypt) to put us back into slavery, boundary, restriction or “under a curse” as many would suggest.

“Your Righteousness is righteousness forever, and YOUR TORAH IS TRUTH Tehillem (Psalms) 119: 142

“Now that you have cleansed your lives IN OBEYING THE TRUTH [obeying Torah] through the Spirit to unfeigned brotherly love, love one another fervently with a clean heart, having been born again,[again following Torah] not of corruptible seed, but incorruptible through the LIVING WORDS [Torah] of ELaHYM, WHICH REMAINS FOREVER, because all flesh is as grass, and all the esteem of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls away, but THE WORDS OF ELaHYM REMAINS FOREVER. AND THIS IS THE WORD, ANNOUNCED AS GOOD NEWS TO YOU!”Kepha Aleph (1 Peter) 1: 22-25 Yet more confirmation found in Debarim (Deuteronomy) 33: 2-4 that the “WORDS OF ELaHYM” as spoken in the above words from Kepha (Peter) are those words given to Mosheh signed, sealed and delivered through Psalms 89: 34 that leaves us no doubt as to what the “Good News” are! Let’s read it all together!

“And he [Mosheh] said, ‘YaHUaH came from Sinai, and rose from Se’ir for them [house of Ya’aqob] He shown forth from Mount Paran, and came with ten thousands of set-apart ones – at His right hand a law of fire for them. Indeed, He loves the peoples, all His set apart ones are in Your hand. And they, they sat down at your feet, RECEIVING YOUR WORDS.’ Mosheh commanded us a Torah, AN INHERITANCE OF THE ASSEMBLY OF YA’AQOB.”

The second WITNESS is Tehillem (Psalms) 89: 34 that states the following:

“I shall not profane My covenant, neither would I change what has gone out from My lips.”

Not to mention that Messiah will only reign over the house of Ya’aqob (Luqas 1:33) and according to Scripture the Torah is Ya’aqob’s INHERITANCE! You better soon see yourself as part of the “house of Ya’aqob” even except the fact that you will also have to go through “Ya’aqob’s trouble”.

In closing with PART 4, let me share one last thing before moving on to PART 5. “Faith” is a Torah concept and not something that came when YaHUShA died on the up right stake!

The book Habaqquq (Habakkuk) 2: 4 explains, “Behold, he whose sole is not upright in him shall fail, BUT THE RIGHTEOUS SHALL LIVE BY (((FAITH))).” In our western minds faith is a mental exercise in knowing that someone or something exists or will act on what he said. For instance, if we say “I have faith in ELaHYM” we are saying “I know that ELaHYM exists and do what he says he will do”. The Hebrew word for faith is אמונה (emunah – Strong’s #530) and is an action oriented word meaning “support”. This is important because the Western concept of faith places the action on the one you have faith IN, such as “faith IN ELaHYM”. But, the Hebrew word אמונה places the action on the one who “supports ELaHYM”. It is not a knowing that ELaHYM will act, BUT RATHER I will do what I can to support ELaHYM. This idea of support for the word emunah can be seen in Shemoth (Exodus) 17: 12. “But Mosheh’s hands grew weary; so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat upon it, and Aharon and Hur held up his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side; so his hands were “steady” (emunah)(faithfully)(supported) until the going down of the sun.”

It is the support/emunah of Aharon and Hur that held of Mosheh’s arms, not the support/emunah of Moses. When we say “I have faith in ELaHYM”, we should be thinking “I will do what I can to support ELaHYM in what He says we must do to support”. Makes you wonder why was it required to put the blood of the Lamb on the door post and why Messiah would require our OBEDIENCE (Yochanan 14: 15) … by grace THROUGH faith!
